Old Major- Karl Marx/Lenin,
-Major invented Animalism and represnts Marx but also represents Lenin in some ways. In the book, Major's skull was displayed in a similar way that Lenin's remains were displayed to the public.
Napoleon- Joseph Stalin,
-Napoleon represents Stalin who was the second leader of the Soviet Union just like Napoleon took leader after Major at the beginning of the revolution.
Snowball- Leon Trotsky
-Trotsky was Stalin's enemy as he rose to power. He was exiled just Snowball was banned from the farm.
Squealer- Stalin's Propaganda Department
-Squealer spread Napoleon's truth just as the Russian media provided information on Stalin.

-Mr. Jones was the owner of Manor Farm and represents the last Czar of Russia before Lenin was in charge.
